The restaurant at Langass has, over time built an enviable reputation as probably the best place to eat in the Hebrides.
Our Head Chef, Mike MacDonald, a native of the islands has expertly combined modern Scottish cuisine with the best ingredients these islands have to offer. Our team gather, forage, hunt and dive on North Uist’s hills, lochs, sea and shores. Our restaurant menu changes daily allowing us to present the best of our catch and evolves with the seasons. Our static bar menu is served in our comfortable conservatory.
With a little warning, our chefs are able to cater for a variety of different dietary requirements. Please be sure to inform us when you reserve your table.
We have an extensive wine list which has been chosen to compliment our menu and we are happy to suggest wines to match your choice of food.
Lunches – Between midday and 2pm we serve light lunches in our Bar Conservatory. This is a variable menu, changing daily but includes a selection of Pate, Soup, Quiche, Cullen Skink and Sandwiches.
Please note, a table is not automatically allocated if you book a room to stay with us. Please be sure to let us know if you would like to make a reservation in our bar or restaurant.
We serve evening meals daily from 6pm and welcome non residents to dine with us but stress that booking is essential.
